Routine Checkup

A routine medical checkup is a general medical examination to assess an individual’s overall health and well-being. It is typically recommended for individuals of all ages to undergo a routine medical checkup at least once a year, although the frequency may vary based on individual health status and risk factors.

During a routine medical checkup, we will typically review the individual’s medical history, including any existing medical conditions, medications, and allergies. We may also ask about lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, and smoking or alcohol use. We will also perform a physical examination, which may include measurements of height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse, as well as an assessment of the individual’s vision, hearing, and neurological function.

Depending on the individual’s age, sex, and medical history, our provider may also recommend certain screening tests or immunizations to detect or prevent common health conditions, such as cholesterol screening or mammography.

A routine medical checkup is important for the early detection and prevention of common medical conditions, as well as for the ongoing management of existing medical conditions. It also provides an opportunity for the individual to discuss any concerns or questions you may have.
